How a neighbourhood restaurant turned local search into 11,445 online orders.

A multi-generation restaurant had an outdated site and wanted more visibility for its signature dishes and catering. We rebuilt the site with local identity and made each dish findable.

11,445

online-order clicks from organic search

131

phone calls from hungry locals and catering inquiries

+184%

growth in monthly search impressions, from 14,165 to 40,270

The challenge

The old website was slow, hard to use on mobile, and gave Google almost nothing to rank. Signature dishes, catering and community fundraising had no dedicated pages, so hungry locals and tourists were not finding them.

The window

Search baselines run from September 2025, the month the rebuild began, against July 2026. The chart covers a growth window from within the campaign, dated beneath it, and shows daily figures rather than monthly.

What we did

Rebuilt the site around the restaurant’s neighbourhood roots.

Then created the menu and local-guide pages that win food searches.

Rebuilt the site with local identity A modern, fast, mobile-first layout that reflects the restaurant’s deep neighbourhood roots.

Built menu category pages Optimised pages for the most-searched dishes, so each signature item competes on its own name.

Expanded business service portals Dedicated pages for catering, community fundraising and the restaurant’s history, to capture higher-ticket revenue.

Published local dining guides Articles positioning the restaurant for community gatherings and tourist routes: spots near landmarks, game-day platters, holiday potlucks.

Optimised menu and location for AI and local Structured hours, address and dish descriptions so AI tools recommend the venue, and kept the Google Business Profile active.
